If you are creating a web site, here are a few important things to remember for SEO.
Use META tags on all your pages, Keywords and Descriptions
If you have mostly pictures, use “alt” tags because the bots going thru your site cannot interpret images.
Create a SiteMap.xml in the root folder (not a typical html sitemap for users) that can be used by search engines
If possible use CSS files for the Menus of the site instead of Java because they are search engine readable.
